Obituary
Clifford C. Brown a ilfe(sic) resident of Glenmont vicinity died Tuesdayevening March 7 at Pomerene Memorial Hospital. He had been in ill healthtwo and a half weeks prior to his death. He was born August 31,1883 in Holmes County, the osn(sic) of Leonard and Mary Ann PhillipsBrown. He was married to Blache Bower who preceded him in death in 1943.He was a life long member of the Union Grove Church of Christand actively engaged in farming all his life. He leaves twosons, Ralph W. Brown of Danville and Leonard of Rt. 1. BrinkHaven: onedaugher. Mrs. Harry (Mary) Davenport of Rt. 1. Lakeville: sixgrandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Seven brothers preceded himin death. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday at the UnionGrove Church with Ted Moore. minister officiating. Burial was in thechurch cemetery.
