Ralph W. Brown
Danville- Ralph W. Brown, 80 of Cedar Street, Danville, died thismoring in the Morning View Care Center, Danville, after a brief illness.
Mr. Brown was born Jan. 30, 1909 in Stillwell to Clifford C. andBlanche(Bower) Brown. He was retired from the State of Ohio ForestryDepartment and had been an insurance agent for 58 years. Mr. Brown was amember of the Danville Church of Christ, the Danville Lions Club,Danville Masonic Lodge 546, the Kokosing Order of the Eastern StarChapter 333.
Surviving is his wife, Dorothy (Englehardt) Brown, whom he marriedNov. 15, 1930. Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Eugene (Ruth Ann)Woods of Danville; a son, Charles L. Brown of Mt. Vernon; 5grandchildren; four great -grandchildren; and a brothe, Leonard G. Brownof Genmont.
He is preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Mary JaneDavenport.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday in the Union Grove Churchof Christ in Holmes County, with Pastor Bob Bender officiating. Burialwill be in the Union Grove Cemetery. Friends may call 7 to 8:30 p.m.today in Fischer Funeral Home, Danville.
Memorial contributions may be mad to the Knox County Branch of theAmerican Heart Association, in care of Juanita Lunn, 1204 N. MulberrySt., Mt. Vernon 43050.
