[1276] James also settled in Upper Ohio. The writer is unable to learn just where he lived, possibly where Thomas Jones later settled. He died fairly early in life and the family moved to Shelburne and lived for a time in the house at the corner of Dock Street and St. Andrew's Lane, later occupied by Mr. James Stevens McGill, whose wife was Catherine Ann Johnstone, daughter of Catherine Bower and James Johnstone.
