Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at the Union GroveChurch of Christ and John Wilmer Bower, 70, of Killbuck Rt. 1, who diedsuddenly on Wednesday afternoon, April 14, while in Millersburg.
Mr Bower was born in Homes County on May 9, 1894, the son of John andMary(sic) Jane Chase Bower.
He leaves on daughter, Mrs. Geneva Van Winkle of Danville and onegrandson, John James Reiheld of Danville,
One son, a brother and four sisters preceded him in death.
A retired farmer, Mr. Bower, was a veteran of World War I and fro mayyears was a member and an elder of the Union Grove Church of Christ.
He was also a member of th Richland Grange; Sparton Lodge, No. 126,F&AM; Millersburg Chapter, No. 86, RAM and Thebam Council, 126, RSM.
The Rev. Lawrence hayes conducted the services at the Union GroveChurch of Christ on Saturday afternoon and burial was in the churchCemetery. Elliott-Hartline Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
