Obituary Harry Davenport
Harry E. Davenport, 60, of Lakeville, died at his home Wednesdayafternoon following a garden tractor accident.
He had been trapped underneath the tractor and Holmes County CoronorDr. M. Robert Huston has ruled the death and accidental and the result ofasphyxiation.
Graveside services will be held Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at Union GroveChurch of Christ Cemetery, on township road 2 off county road 25, withPastor Kenneth Mulpas officiating.
There will be no calling hours but friends may call at the residenceanytime.
Johnson-Alexander Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be given to Ripley Church of Christ, BigPrairie, Ohio.
He was born in Lakeville in 1922 to Harry Arthur and Elva JaneHostettler Davenport. He was married Jan. 12, 1944 to Mary Jane Brown,she survives.
He worked for Interpace in Perrysville for 41 years, and was amember of Ripley Church of Christ. He was a veteran of World War II,having served in the 99th Division, 393rd Infantry of the U. S. Army.
He also was a member of Loudonville American Legion.
Surviving in addition to his wife are a daughter, Mrs Jack (MarryAnn)) Hunsberger of Goshen, Ind. and tow grandchildren.
His parents died previously.
