Oral Laughlin suggested questioning Kay Lombard of her recollections
of Clarence as he lived most of life in Wheaton.
Jim Watson of Tulsa reports that he knew Clarence Bowers, son of Jack Bowers,
from the Hazelgreen, Mo area. He says that his Grandfather, Joe Bowers
owned property there in the 20's or the 30's and that several of the family
lived in that area. Jim says that Clarence was married to a Ruby Beck and
had a son he knew named Jackie Bowers, born in 1929. At his report in 1995
Clarence and Jackie were both deceased but he thought it was possible that
Ruby was still alive and likely that children of Jackie still lived in the
Hazelgreen area. He said Jackie worked as an engineer with the Mo Highway
Dept.
