Ann Elizabeth BOWERS, born in Tredegar Wales 25 September 1877, married John Robert CARPENTER 26 December 1900 Cwm Monmouthshire. In 1915 they lived at 71 Beaufort Hill, Beaufort, Monmouthshire.
Her parents were Allen Owen BOWERS (christened 19 October 1851 in Colwall, Herefordshire, England) and Hannah FREEMAN. They married 17 December 1876 in Rhymney Monmouthshire in 1881 lived at 30 Union Street Bedwellty, Monmouthshire. Allen was a carpenter.
Ann's brother was William John, born about 1880. There may be more; I haven't looked at the 1891 census yet.
Ann's Grandparents were John Woodyatt BOWERS (christened 14 May 1819 in Mathon, Worcestershire, England) and Elizabeth BOWERS. They married 3 March 1851 in Colwall, Herefordshire. John was a farmer in Colwall in the 1881 census
