The Bowers Cemetery is located about five miles northwest of the town of Sulphur Springs, IN on the northeast corner of the intersection of county Roads 500 West & 950 North on section twenty-six of Jefferson Township Henry County, IN. It served as the burial place for the Jacob Bowers, Sr. family and their neighbors from 1844 to 1882. This is located on the original farm which Jacob & Susanah (Andes) purchased in 1842.

Most of burials here took place in the 1840's and 1850's, the only ones after 1870 being members of the Bowers family. The later generations of these families are, for the most part, buried in the Miller-Bowers and Painter Cemeteries in Fall Creek Township, Henry County, Indiana.
